Category Lead – Garage Network

Birmingham

Hybrid

Circa £40,000 - £50,000

Our client are an award-winning fleet management company who are continuing to grow yearly. They are seeking a category lead for their garage network to join their Birmingham office.

Responsibilities – Category Lead – Garage Network

Develop and manage relationships with the SMR garage network in line with current corporate strategy to drive continual improvement in supplier performance and network utilisation
Manage key SMR supplier contracts, invoices and documentation for compliance with existing agreements (KPIs, SLAs, price)
Support the implementation of new customer mobilisations by sourcing additional suppliers and service lines as required
Support the development of our Garage network approach including our offer, rewards and network community
Work closely with the network to ensure we receive contractual revenues/rebates from suppliers   
Work with suppliers to reduce contract administration burden across internal teams and improve supplier governance
Understand internal/external customer’s needs and investigate potential with current and new suppliers
Lead and implement changes to supplier processes and communicate both internally/externally
Qualification/Experience – Category Lead – Garage Network

An education to Degree level in Business, and/ or Finance (preferred), or CIPS qualification (or working toward),
Experience in working in a fleet management environment or experience managing large supplier panels (desirable) 
 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Attention to detail, accuracy in addition to the ability to work effectively independently and as a team member.
Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
