Business Development Manager - Aerospace (Bristol/Hybrid)
Our client is a fast-growing, multi-million £ advanced engineering company that delivers complex systems, solutions, products, and technical services to the civil aerospace, defence, and marine markets. With ambitious growth plans, we seek an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in the Aerospace sector to focus on expanding business in both established and emerging markets worldwide.

This role offers hybrid working or based at their Bristol offices. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable business development skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to identify client needs early, develop sales campaigns, and support proposal development. Candidates without direct experience but with the right attitude and passion will also be considered, as training and mentoring will be provided.

Applicants must possess strong client relationship and business development skills. Knowledge of the aerospace and aero-defence markets is advantageous. Due to project requirements, candidates must be eligible for UK security clearance (SC). Travel nationally and internationally for client visits, events, and exhibitions will be required.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop opportunities for aerospace products and services.

Develop and implement strategic plans for client accounts focusing on growth, profitability, and satisfaction.

Build relationships with current and prospective clients to understand their needs.

Propose innovative solutions and new engagement methods.

Manage client engagement, CRM, and reporting.

Support solution creation and proposal writing.

Collaborate with the wider team to support company initiatives and strategic goals.

Qualifications

Relevant business and/or engineering qualifications.

This role is focused on professional market engagement within a growth environment. Product applications include both manned and unmanned systems.
