    This is more than just a selling role; you will work with the board and then deliver, implement and drive the companies New Market Entry strategy. This is a senior and very important position; success will give you promotion to Director for a global leader within a massive multi-billion group.     The key to being successful in getting this position is a proven track record and profound understanding of the Aerospace markets in Europe, or have similar experience in Gas Turbines, Medical, Space and or Oil and Gas. All of which are critical sectors with demanding standards and high levels of regulation.

    The Candidate:

  • The successful candidate will have an outstanding proven track record in selling, penetrating and winning business in critical markets across Europe

  • Ideally you will have a proven track record in the Aerospace Tier 1 and Aerospace OEM markets

  • You will ideally have knowledge of metals and metal components in the above markets

  • Ideally experience or a desire to move into strategic new market entry business development, this will not be easy you will be fighting an up-hill battle, this will be extremely challenging, but you will have the type of character that thrives on this

  • Outstanding new business and key account management skills, comfortable building long term relationships and a long sales cycle

  • Energetic, Dynamic, Self-starter, Personable, can-do attitude

  • Strategic, understand how to map out a sector, self-generation and new business sales long term relationship building sales

  • Sales Management Experience and or senior business development would be good

  • Ability / experience of accurate forecasting and budgeting

  • Pipeline management and closing skills

  • A strong strategic thinker, strong commercial acumen and emotional intelligence

  • You will have an eye for upselling / cross selling opportunities and navigating and networking corporate businesses

  • You will have excellent communication skills and able to communicate and sell to a wide variety of levels.
