Position Summary

We are seeking a Business Development & Project Manager to expand TRIGO’s Consulting & Engineering Services business in the UK across multiple industries, including automotive, aerospace, railway, and heavy transportation. This role combines business development and account management with project oversight, ensuring smooth execution from contract acquisition to service delivery.

The ideal candidate is a sales-driven professional with a strong technical understanding of quality and supplier development services, capable of building and maintaining relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development:

    • Develop and execute growth strategies for TRIGO’s Consulting & Engineering Services across multiple sectors, targeting OEMs, primes, and suppliers.

    • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, leveraging industry trends and customer needs.

    • Promote TRIGO’s supplier development, quality engineering, and consulting solutions to quality, supply chain, procurement, and engineering leaders.

    • Lead technical and commercial proposal development, including presentations, bid submissions, and commercial offers.

    • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements to drive profitable growth.

    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring steady revenue generation.

  • Project Execution & Customer Delivery:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers post-sale, ensuring smooth project execution and service delivery.

    • Define project scope, objectives, and timelines, coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation.

    • Oversee resource allocation, ensuring the right technical experts are deployed for each engagement.

    • Monitor KPIs, milestones, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with contractual commitments.

    • Proactively address customer concerns and operational challenges, providing solutions to maintain high service quality.

    • Gather client feedback to drive continuous improvement and optimize service delivery.

      Key Requirements

  • Ideal Candidate Profile

    • 5–15 years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within manufacturing, quality services, or consulting.

    • Proven track record in B2B sales, client acquisition, and revenue growth in relevant industries.

    • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple service engagements simultaneously.

    • Familiar with quality tools and manufacturing processes (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing).

    • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with internal technical and commercial teams.

    • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

      Location: West Midlands (Preferred)

      Travel: Regular travel within the UK and occasional international travel as needed
