We're on the lookout for a dynamic Business Controller / Management Accountant to support Airbus Operations Limited - a £4bn turnover business at the forefront of aerospace innovation.

This is more than just a numbers role. You'll be a key player in shaping financial strategy, influencing operational decisions, and delivering insights that matter.

What You'll Be Doing

✈ Lead Financial Planning: Support annual budgets and quarterly forecasts across all business units, ensuring alignment with Airbus' strategic goals.
💡 Drive Improvement Projects: Collaborate with operational managers to identify and validate impactful projects, building strong business cases and ROI assessments.
📊 Deliver Insightful Reporting: Provide timely, accurate financial reports to both local and central teams, highlighting performance and flagging risks early.
🤝 Be a Trusted Advisor: Challenge the status quo, support decision-making, and help drive financial performance through proactive analysis and recommendations.
🛠️ Control Key Cost Areas: Oversee recurring costs, inventory, non-recurring costs, and capital expenditure (Capex) as needed.What We're Looking For

✅ Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience in a manufacturing or commercial setting
✅ SAP or similar ERP experience - you're confident navigating financial systems
✅ Analytical mindset - you love solving problems and making processes leaner
✅ Strong communicator - able to engage with stakeholders across levels and countries
✅ Team player - enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to make a difference
