The Role
As a Bid Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. As part of the Land Future Business Team, you will play a key role in tendering across a diverse range of business areas and work with complex and high value opportunities.
Day-to-day, you’ll support the Bid Programme Directors in the application of ‘end to end’ business winning methodology.
Own the production of quality functional outputs including bid strategies and value propositions Develop and manage bid programmes from inception to contract award Management of the bid programme budget and project controls to ensure effective progress is maintained Instil a culture of objective review, constructive challenge and refinement. When required, undertake the role of business lead and provide functional leadership
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is adaptable and can be delivered from various locations including Bristol, London, Portsmouth etc
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Experience required of the Bid Manager
Good level of Bid Management experience Experience and understanding of capture phase activities Strong project management capabilities Experience of business winning within service based industries Background in defence / aerospace preferred but not essential
Qualifications for the Bid Manager
Educated to degree level within a relevant subject APMP qualification preferred but not essential

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
