Systems Engineer (Front-End Team)

Quest Global, a leading provider of engineering solutions in the Aerospace and Defense industry, is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our Front-End Team. In this role, you will provide technical support to the Eurofighter programme and act as a focal point for collating Customer Requirements.

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking reviews of the requirements to understand any system constraints. This will enable you to produce a coherent Design Concept, aligning the view across theAvionicsSystems DesignTeams. Additionally, you will analyze new and emerging Customer requirements and conduct a full safety scoping exercise to produce anAvionicsSystemsFeasibility AnalysisReport (ASFAR).

Working as part of the Front-End Team, you will collaborate with Cockpit GroupHuman Machine Interfaceengineers to capture additional requirements. The ASFAR you produce will drive additional reviews, ultimately leading to a single selected solution known as theAvionicsDesign Recommendation.

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in co-ordinating reviews with internal and external teams. You will serve as a focal point for task allocation, query answering, and the generation of documentation. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing Customer Statement of Requirements (SOR) and EurofighterSystem RequirementsDocumentation (SRD) to identify and understand Customer needs.

To excel in this role, you must have a degree in a relevant Engineering subject or equivalent relevant experience. A strong Systems Engineering background from either the Aerospace or Defense sectors is essential. You should also have proven experience in requirements capture andrequirements management, as well as a strong understanding of the relationship between requirements and their impact on platform and equipment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must. You should also have a proven track record in stakeholder management and the ability to write formalproject documentation.

At Quest Global, safety is an integral element of our work. As a Systems Engineer, you will perform safety assessments of design changes, highlighting concerns and potential hazards. You will also advise on whether a specific Weapon System PreliminaryHazard Analysis(WS PHA) is required.
