Avionics Software Systems Engineer - Aerospace | Eastleigh | Hybrid (up to 4 days remote)| Perm £51,000 - £64,500

Our client is looking for an experienced Avionics Software Systems Engineer to join their Rotorcraft Health & Usage Monitoring Systems team. You'll play a key role in defining, integrating, and verifying safety-critical software solutions that improve aircraft performance and reliability.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and manage software/system requirements
  • Support software integration and troubleshoot issues
  • Develop and execute verification plans and test procedures
  • Ensure compliance with DO-178C and ARP4754 standards
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams and stakeholders

    What You'll Need:
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years in systems/software engineering, ideally in aerospace or embedded domains
  • Strong experience with DOORS, Python, and SQLite
  • Knowledge of DO-178C, ARP4754, and avionics integration
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
