We are looking for an Unlicenced Avionics Mechanic to permanently join our client’s engineering team based on site in Wiltshire. Our client has a 40-year heritage in the rotary field and are known for maintaining Leonardo aircraft.
As part of the team, you’ll engage in a variety of engineering duties, ensuring the highest standards of maintenance for the aircraft. You’ll collaborate with licensed engineers and contribute to the smooth operation of the facilities, both on-site and off-site.

Job Description:
Report directly and engage in any engineering duties prescribed by Company Licenced Engineers and the Engineering manager/Base Manager Carry out both line and base maintenance at any of the facilities, and off-site upon company requirements. Ensure the highest quality and standards of work are completed in relation to aircraft, components, and documentation. Use and maintain any company provided tools and equipment in safe and proper manner. Perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment of various aircraft components. Ensure compliance with CAA/EASA and Company standards. Ensure facilities, equipment and premises are maintained to an acceptable standard. Promote safety within the workplace and ensure all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines. Complete all tasks as specified in an efficient and compliant manner ensuring that safety matters are always considered and adhered to. Report and confer with Licenced Engineers and Management on any maintenance issues that could impact safety or job completion dates. Work with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the business. Ensure facilities, equipment and premises are maintained to an acceptable standard. Analyse and interpret technical aircraft information. Carry out as required all aircraft ground operations such as aircraft moving, refuelling, and cleaning.
