This strategic trilateral collaboration represents an unprecedented alliance between global powers, with £2.4 billion being invested over the next decade to revolutionise naval defence capabilities.


At the heart of this programme lies the development of cutting-edge nuclear reactors and propulsion systems that will power the submarine fleet protecting our nations for decades to come. They are building world-class facilities across the UK, with hundreds of millions being invested in both nuclear and non-nuclear manufacturing infrastructure that will set new global standards for defence production.

Requirements


You will have strong project management experience with a technical background from the construction sector and ideally hold professional qualifications and memberships (MCIOB, MAPM etc.), along with experience of NEC contracts.


  • Ideally have NEC accreditation or several years NEC project management experience
  • You will ideally already be security cleared or able to get security clearance
  • Have led/worked on large complex construction programs of work in the construction sector
  • A construction technical background is a must-have to be considered for the role
  • Able to work on own initiative with strong motivation skills
  • Strong communication skills with experience working in a client-focused environment
  • Well organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
  • Commitment to working a minimum of 3 days on site (Tuesday to Thursday)
