Job Title: Assembly Operative – Fibreglass

Location: Denham, UK

Note: Due to the remote business location, the ideal candidate must have their own transport. 

Salary: £27,000 per year 

Overtime: Up to £8,000 per year of overtime available

Shifts: Monday - Thursday 8 am-5 pm, Friday 8 am-12noon

About the Role:

Join a leading manufacturer of ejection seats and be part of a mission to save aircrew lives worldwide. As an Assembly Operative in the Sheet Metal & Fibreglass Department, you will play a crucial role in assembling components for ejection seats used in advanced military aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct heat treatment and injection moulding processes.

Assemble seat components and parachute containers.

Operate vertical milling machines, presses, and hand tools.

Work with materials such as aluminium, fibreglass, and carbon fibre.

Skills & Experience:

Experience in riveting, moulding, or using engineering tools.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Aerospace experience is a plus.

Certification as a Press Operator is desirable.
