The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing sales strategies, developing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires a self-motivated and target-driven professional with strong relationship-building skills and a solid understanding of precision engineering.
Key Responsibilities

  • Track and report on sales performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain and grow business development efforts with existing key accounts in the cutting tools sector.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Prepare and follow up on sales proposals and quotations.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive market penetration.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to respond effectively to customer needs and technical requirements.
    What’s Required?
  • A time-served engineer with experience in aerospace, oil & gas, or automotive industries is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of metal cutting and machining processes.
  • Proven sales experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • A proactive problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • IT-literate, with experience using sales and reporting software.
  • Confident in presenting technical solutions to customers.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
