About the Role

Our client, a global leader in the carbide cutting tool industry, is seeking a motivated and experienced Area Sales Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on maintaining and growing sales within the manufacturing sector, with an emphasis on aerospace, oil & gas, and automotive industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing sales strategies, generating new business, and building strong relationships with customers across the North East region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales performance, ensuring targets are consistently achieved.

  • Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

  • Sales Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to support ongoing business growth.

  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with customers to address their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Market Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth and market penetration in the assigned territory.
