Applications Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer

This company are an established manufacturer who value innovation and quality products which best represents their proud history. They serve a number of high tech industries including aviation, oil and gas, automotive and more.

In this role you will be part of the applications team, liaising remotely with customers for technical discussions and support, while developing solutions that will be carried out in correspondence with the engineering/ manufacturing teams. You will also play a vital role in product development, including aspects of design and testing.

The role would suit someone who holds a degree in mechanical engineering or similar degrees, such as aerospace, automotive etc. You should also have some proven experience in a Mechanical engineering position, such as Applications, Development, or similar.

The Role:
*Monday - Friday, 37 hours (half day on Friday)
*Involved in applications and product development
*Technical discussions with customers and forming solutions
*Assistance with new and existing product development

The Person:
*Experience in a mechanical engineering role (applications, development, manufacturing, or similar)
*Full UK Driver's license
