 Are you looking for a fresh challenge, with a forward-thinking organisation within the high-tech engineering sector? The Hyde Group are established Industry experts within Aerospace Engineering and have a new vacancy for an airframe fitter working at our manufacturing facility in Dukinfield.

As an Airframe Fitter, you will be involved with the assembly of our core product working with a variety of metallic structures. You’ll perform all assembly operations in line with our Standard Operating Procedures, whilst working to the approved quality standards.

You will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and have the ability to ensure that the correct equipment is used and fully calibrated.

Essential Requirements:

Must be committed to working safely and comply with the 5S standards in place.

Aerospace airframe / structural assembly experience, preferably working within the aerospace industry

Ability to read / understand drawings and aerospace specifications.

Key processes: drilling, countersinking, riveting, use of sealants, fitting helicoils, bearing, bushes etc.

Trade test to be completed as a follow up / 2nd stage interview to demonstrate ability to carry out assembly processes to aerospace quality standards.

 The hours for this role are compressed over four days working 7:00am-4:30pm Monday - Thursday.
