Position: M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00 to $49.00 per hour

Job Description

MFC Training is seeking qualified M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team in London, Ontario. The role involves:

  1. Carrying out troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of aircraft and components, including heavy maintenance
  2. Reporting issues affecting aircraft serviceability
  3. Ensuring compliance with MFC and Transport Canada regulations
  4. Coordinating parts requirements and ensuring availability of tools and equipment
  5. Administering safety practices and procedures
  6. Completing work sheets and reporting unserviceable equipment

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course or equivalent experience
  • M1 license preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of AME experience is an asset
  • Experience with light piston aircraft is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to operational needs
  • Eligibility for security clearance
