Aircraft Loads Expert Engineer- China.

Our Aerospace client based in Shanghai, China, are looking to appoint an Expert Aircraft Loads Engineer Engineer to be engaged on their family of Civil Passenger Aircraft in Shanghai.

This will be a long-term role. Fixed term contracts will be offered to the successful candidate. If you are interested to live and work in Asia, this opportunity will allow that to happen with plenty of time to explore this region, its culture and customs.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Loads design work planning.
Provide guidance on loads design requirements management.
Provide guidance on loads modelling methods.
Provide guidance on the definition of loads design scenarios.
Formulate loads input sensitivity analysis plan.
Provide  guidance on loads airworthiness compliance.
Undertake risk assessment of loads design.

Qualifications:
Experience working in world class Aerospace companies, 8 - 10 years minimum experience in loads analysis and design, more than 2 years of experience in loads management.
Familiar with the whole design process and method of large civil aircraft models and have deep insights and understanding of the airworthiness requirements of international large passenger aircraft and the developing trends in design technology.
Be able to formulate the loads work plan and requirements of the full design cycle of the model.
Skilled in the use of NASTRAN.
Knowledge Aeroelastics and Flutter.
You have a good understanding of aircraft structures.
Support and interact with other engineering disciplines such as Flight Characteristics, Structures, Mass Properties, Systems, Fly-By-Wire, Landing Gear and Flight Test.
All round knowledge of Design Loads and their determination, Aerodynamic Loads, Dynamic and Static Loads etc.
Knowledge of Certification for Civil Passenger Aircraft in relation to Loads.
 
Proficient in loads modelling methods and verification methods.
Skilled in rapid assessment of the loads magnitude of large aircraft components.
Knowledge of working to the relevant professional standards and processes.
Use professional knowledge to solve and guide the solution of model technical problems.
Dedicated, serious work attitude, strong sense of responsibility.
Experience in internationally renowned companies, institutions or universities, with a doctorate degree preferred, or Masters Degree.
Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading and writing.Candidates who are willing to live and work in Shanghai, China for 1 -3 years initial contract are invited to apply
