My client is looking for an Aircraft Inventory Sales Specialist join on them on a permanent basis near Gatwick Airport.

The Aircraft Inventory Sales Specialist will trade and increase the sales of inventory by means of exchange, loan and sale.
They will find new sales opportunities from their research and market intelligence, and support the sales staff in delivering high quality customer service.

Please apply ONLY if you have some previous experience of working within an aircraft inventory sales environment. On this occasion, the client is unable to train individuals from scratch, with no prior experience.

Role: Aircraft Inventory Sales Specialist (Permanent Position)
Pay: £30,000 - £35,000 plus up to 10% annual bonus (performance dependent)
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Shift: Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week. 2 days WFH optional after probation.

Main responsibilities:

  • Trade aircraft inventory by means of exchange, loan and sale
  • Maximize all sales opportunities through continuous market intelligence to ensure the highest revenues are achieved
  • Respond to customer enquiries in the appropriate time frame.
  • Always deliver high quality customer service.
  • Enter all enquiries into the system for reference.
  • Meeting and exceeding company sales targets and goals.
  • Manage customer accounts and contracts, including specific requirements.
  • Maintaining vendor quotes through market intelligence
  • Inventory analysis to determine the right stock required to promote exchange-sales
  • Ability to perform compliance checks and successfully generate orders.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports as required using the appropriate reporting systems.
  • To assist in covering the AOG desk when required (training provided).

    Ideal candidate profile:
  • Some previous experience of working in an aircraft inventory sales environment.
  • A good understanding of the various processes of trading aircraft inventory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and re-prioritise.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly pick up bespoke company software.
  • Personable, confident, outgoing, proactive, rapport-builder.
