On behalf of our client, a specialist Aerospace fabrication and welding business, we’re actively recruiting a number Aircraft Fitters with experience on structural components to join their growing team in Manchester. The Role

As an Aircraft Fitter, you’ll play a critical role in the assembly and structural fitting of aerospace components. Key responsibilities include:

• Assembling airframe and structural components to aerospace specifications.
  
  
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and aerospace specifications.
  
  
• Performing key processes such as drilling, countersinking, riveting, and applying sealants.
  
  
• Fitting helicoils, bearings, bushes, and other precision components.
  
  About You
  
  The ideal candidate will have:
  
  
• Proven experience in aerospace airframe or structural assembly.
  
  
• The ability to accurately read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with drilling, riveting, and sealant application processes.
  
  
• An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  
  
• The ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
