Aircraft Electrical Fitter

Location: Northwest Wales

Duration: 12 Months, likely to be extended

Clearance: Additional clearances required from Day 1; SC to follow

About the Role:

We’re seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrical Fitter to support line and base maintenance operations for a Rotary Wing fleet, including aircraft movements and general hangar duties.

Responsibilities for an Aircraft Electrical Fitter:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance under the supervision of a Lead Engineer

  • Complete maintenance inspections and repairs under the supervision.

  • Conduct maintenance, including avionic and electrical systems in accordance with regulatory standards

  • Assist with aircraft movements and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient hangar environment

    Requirements for an Aircraft Electrical Fitter:

  • Strong understanding of electrical and avionic systems within aerospace environments.

  • Experienced in using specialised test equipment for troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and avionic components.

    Up-to-date knowledge of:

  • Flight and airport operations procedures

  • Aircraft line maintenance practices

  • Aircraft base maintenance requirements

    Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with UK Military Aviation and the UK MFTS

  • Familiarity with CAA Part 145 and Part M regulations

  • Previous hands-on experience with H135 and H145 helicopters
