Hyde Coatings Ltd is currently recruiting an Aircraft Component Paint Sprayer based at one of our bespoke treatment facilities in Stalybridge on a day shift. As an Aircraft Component Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for carrying out the application of various paints to a range of aerospace products whilst maintaining the general cleanliness and safety within the building and supporting other areas of the business when required.

Duties include but are not limited to;



Using paints on a stock rotation

*

Application of polyurethane, epoxy, dry lubrication, abrasion resistant paints, lacquers

*

Thickness Testing

*

Paperwork

*

Viscosity testing

*

Paint mixing

*

Equipment maintenance

*

Working to technique sheets for various customer specifications

*

Spraying to thickness requirements

*

Daily checks of equipment and booths

*

Booth maintenance e.g., filter changes and routine cleaning

* Section cleanliness, bins etc

* Working closely with the inspection department regarding opportunities for improvement

* Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines and reforecasting

Essential Skills;

* Application of paint products in an Aerospace/Automotive environment

Desired Skills;

Any previous aerospace paint application knowledge would be beneficial. Good communication and planning skills.

Experience required;

* Minimum of 2 years in a paint application environment
