Position: Supplier Quality Representative
Location: London (Rochford), UK
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Frequency: Full-time
Responsibilities Main responsibilities
Lead, assess, & investigate supplier quality issues
Plan & execute high complex & cross-functional projects & initiatives
Participate in quality reviews, PMRs & governances with senior management (Directors)
Identify opportunities for improvement, team efficiency, and capability building among the team & stakeholders
Define corrective actions & improvement plans with suppliers
Propose innovative solutions and develop optimal solutions for complex issues, managing their deployment
Perform risk analysis for complex solutions
Develop & recommend communication strategies for decisions
Analyze data & generate KPIs on supplier quality performance
Manage RNC / VRNC quality tasks requiring MRB approval
Provide technical support & coaching on quality tools to team members & stakeholders
Mentor team members & participate in defining strategic department plans
Other responsibilities (if required) Plan & perform FAI reviews
Conduct source inspections
Review & approve quality forms (e.g., dropship)
Requirements Minimum of 7 years experience in aerospace and quality
Extensive problem-solving and root cause analysis experience
Experience with problem-solving methodologies/tools like 8D, PDCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Poka Yoke
Six Sigma Green or Black belt is an asset
Experience with Completions (interior components such as seats, leather, finishing)
Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to read blueprints, check dimensional properties, and understand GD&T
Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102) is an asset
Knowledge of Net Inspect, Discus, SAP is an asset
Proficient in inspection concepts and tools (CMM, comparator, micrometers, gauges)
Ability to work independently as a role model
