Aerospace OperatorAerospace Operator Job Purpose:

To manage and coordinate urgent and time-sensitive airfreight shipments, ensuring the fastest and most reliable solutions for critical cargo from origin to final destination, while delivering outstanding service to clients.

Aerospace Operator Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of time critical and next-flight-out (NFO) airfreight shipments.

  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries, provide quotations, and recommend optimal routing and solutions based on urgency and cost.

  • Coordinate bookings and closely liaise with airlines, handling agents, customs brokers, couriers, and last-mile providers.

  • Monitor shipment milestones proactively and keep customers updated in real time.

  • Prepare and review shipment documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export/import declarations.

  • Ensure compliance with local customs regulations and all relevant aviation security and cargo handling requirements.

  • Identify and resolve potential issues such as flight delays, customs holds, or capacity constraints.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely data entry into internal systems.

  • Provide after-hours or on-call support as required by time critical service demands.
