Job Summary: As an Aerospace Assembly Operative you will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing components used in aircraft and spacecraft. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble aerospace components and sub-assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and technical drawings.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Perform quality checks to ensure components meet specifications.
Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Collaborate with engineers and quality inspectors to resolve assembly issues.
Complete documentation and production records accurately.
Skills & Qualifications: Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly (aerospace experience preferred).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and quality control processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
