A growing business that has been established for over 100 years, supplying products and materials to companies within the aerospace, electronics, automotive, catering and agricultural industries is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join the team. 

This is a newly created role, looking after existing clients across the UK, whilst identifying new business opportunities and new markets as growth areas. 

Along with a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, you will also receive a commission structure, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 25 with service), a company pension scheme, free onsite parking and a gym membership. 

As Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Researching and identifying new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, products and services
Gathering information such as getting the correct contact within an organisation
Following up quotations generated by the sales team
Warm calling existing customers, generating leads and cold calling potential customers
Visiting customer on site
Understanding the needs of customers and responding effectively with a plan of action
Supporting bid-writing for new grants and contracts
Attending seminars, conferences and events to build your business network and profile.
Carrying out sales forecasts and analysis
We’re looking for an Account Manager with: 

Experience in a sales, account management or customer services role
Professional with good communication skills
Competitive, happy to work to targets
Must be proactive and be able to manage their own workload
Must be a car owner/driver
You will be working Monday-Thursday, 08:15-17:00 & Friday, 08:15-16:00. This is an office-based role; however, you will manage your own diary so can be out visiting customers.
