Software V&V Engineer – Contract
Location: South East England / Remote
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Rate: £55 (Outside IR35)
A leading engineering team is looking for a Software Verification & Validation Engineer to support the validation of a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) platform.
Key Responsibilities:

  • V&V of a software runtime compiled alongside MBSE-generated code (from ESA tool “TASTE”).
  • Integration of software onto an ARM-M7 platform.
  • Support demos, including integration into a training spacecraft.
    Key Skills:
  • C coding, GCOV, CMocka, hardware integration.
  • RTOS (RTEMS), ARM-M7, Microchip SAM, Jenkins, MBSE tools (e.g., Simulink) a plus.
  • Knowledge of ECSS, DO-178B/C, ASN.1, SDL desirable.
