We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major infrastructure programme in Scotland.

You will be responsible for estimating, monitoring, and managing the costs associated with construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed within budget and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Your expertise in cost estimation, contract administration, and financial management will be instrumental in the successful execution of construction projects.

What Do We Need

You must have experience with NEC Contracts and a proven track record of working on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within the defence sector.



Strong cost management and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.

Experience in procurement and contract administration, including variations and claims.

Ability to lead and mentor junior surveyors, ensuring compliance with project and client requirements. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, working with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency in CEMAR.

Qualifications

Ideally Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying

Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)

Location

The role is Hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent in the office in Glasgow City Centre.

Occasional site visits will be required so having your own transport is essential.
