Our client is looking for a skilled FPGA Engineer to design, develop, and integrate advanced electronic systems across the full project lifecycle, ensuring innovative solutions meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Translating complex system specifications into firmware design requirements and ensuring seamless integration.
  • Leading firmware development, testing, and simulation to drive system performance.
  • Developing and refining robust verification processes to ensure reliability.
  • Producing key project documentation, including design specs, test plans, and interface definitions.
  • Identifying and resolving technical challenges related to certification, qualification, and safety.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Supporting planning, estimations, and design changes at various project stages.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior engineers, with the potential to take on lead roles such as Project Engineering Lead or Work Package Manager.
    Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Extensive firmware development experience across the full project lifecycle.
  • FPGA, VHDL
  • Strong background in designing complex electronic systems.
  • Experience with prototyping, testing, and verification of electronic subsystems.
  • Defence, aerospace, or maritime experience preferred.
  • Must be eligible for SC clearance.
