Job Title: Satellite Systems Engineer

Location: Stevenage, UK

Duration: 12 Months Contract - Possibility of extension

Job Profile:

• Interpret electrical and functional test requirements from specifications.
• Develop, debug, and execute testsequences/proceduresfor spacecraft systems using CCS, Elisa, and Java-based tools.
• Provide first-line support during spacecraft tests and investigate anomalies.
• Participate in test reviews and prepare reports. Participate in the Launch Test Campaigns.
• Support functional, performance, and environmental tests (TVAC, Magnetic, EMC).

Skills & Experience:

• Experience writing and debugging test scripts/sequences for spacecraft tests, preferably with Elisa and Java.
• Knowledge of spacecraft systems (Data Handling, Communications, Attitude Control, Power, Thermal, FDIR).
• Familiarity with TMTC databases and Linux/Unix scripting (bash); programming skills (C, Java, Python, TCL) are a plus.
• Competent with electrical test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, data bus monitors).
• Understanding of system testing, verification, and cleanroom protocols.
• Willingness to work flexible hours/shifts.
