The Role:
We’re seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to ensure products meet the highest standards, including AS9100 and ISO9001. You’ll take ownership of our Quality Management System (QMS), drive continuous improvement, and act as the primary customer interface for quality matters. You will work with cutting edge inspection technology in a dynamic, quality focussed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all products meet customer requirements and comply with AS9100, ISO9001, and other standards.

  • Maintain and enhance the company’s QMS, including documentation reviews and updates.

  • Lead internal and external audits, managing non-conformances from audits, customer complaints, or defective products.

  • Develop and implement an internal audit programme to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with teams to share best practices.

  • Manage the tooling register, ensuring timely calibration of equipment.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer issues.

  • Provide leadership to keep teams engaged, focused, and performing at their best.

  • Uphold health and safety standards across the site.

    What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager in/working within the aerospace industry, working to AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.

  • Expertise in problem-solving methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance, internal auditing, and external standards.

  • Experience leading aerospace/engineering compliance audits.

  • Background in machining or production environments (desirable).

  • Excellent communication, diplomacy, and negotiation skills to engage with internal teams, customers, and suppliers. Results-driven with a methodical and logical approach to work.

  • High levels of responsibility and accountability
