Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of MLI (Multi-Layer Insulation) systems for satellites
- Understanding of space environment effects on materials (radiation, thermal cycling, atomic oxygen)
- Knowledge of aerospace industry regulations (e.g., FAA, NASA, ASTM, MIL-STD) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with hands-on experience in laboratory testing and product evaluation.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience with technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Experience working with aerospace OEMs, suppliers, or regulatory bodies.
- Familiarity with thermal protection systems, EMI shielding, or other specialized aerospace applications.
- Knowledge of polymer chemistry and material processing techniques relevant to aerospace
applications.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (Master's or Ph.D. preferred) in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven (7)+ years of experience in product development of aerospace materials, preferably in thermal protection systems. Additional education will be considered in lieu of experience.

- Travel by air, rail, auto (15% of time)
- Work in manufacturing area, QA lab and office areas
