In this role, the successful Panel Wirer or similar will be responsible for wiring large scale projects using techniques such as; Cabinet Wiring, Rack Wiring and Box Wiring etc…, and you will do this through the use of various handheld crimping tools. In addition, you will also be responsible for the creation, routing and securement of multiple wire/cable harnesses and looms. On top of this, you will also be responsible for the termination of a variety of different connector types. Finally, you will also be responsible for keeping accurate and up-to-date technical documentation of works/projects.

The ideal Panel Wirer or similar will have a background working on large scale projects, having previous experience in the Aerospace/Defence/Industrial/healthcare/Plant sectors or a related field. In addition, you will also have ability to interpret and understand technical/schematic drawings. On top of this, you will have previous practical experience within a Panel Wirer position or similar. Finally, you will have strong organisational, analytical, and communicational skills, with the confidence to work both as part of a team, and autonomously.

Wiring large scale projects using techniques such as; Cabinet Wiring, Rack Wiring and Box Wiring

Creation, routing and securement of multiple wire/cable harnesses and looms

Termination of a variety of different connector typesThe Person:
