I am looking for 4 experienced Orbital Welder/Fitters who can also manual TIG weld. The job is due to start around the 2nd week of September and will run through to February next year , based near Lichfield, Staffordshire.
Requirements:
* Strong experience in orbital welding (setting various programs, handling different pipe sizes)
* Must be able to fit pipe as well – multi-skilled is essential
* Own tools required (Orbital machines will be provided)
* Valid IPAF/PASMA and CSCS or CCNSG
* Must be available to attend weld tests provisionally on 26th August
* Tests: 2” dairy tube TIG weld + 2” orbital weld
* All to ASME coding standards
Rates:
* £31/hr local
* £?? Travel rate to be confirmed
* Mon–Thurs: 07:00–17:00 (min 47.5 hours per week)
* Fri: 07:00–14:30
* No weekend work currently...
