Marine Engineer

DK Recruitment are seeking an experienced Marine Engineer to join our clients' team working on a range of commercial marine vessels. You will play a key role in the maintenance, and optimisation of mechanical systems aboard vessels and marine structures, ensuring operational reliability, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, install, maintain and repair mechanical systems onboard ships.

Conduct inspections, diagnostics and performance testing of engines, propulsion systems, HVAC, and auxiliary systems

Liaise with suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with maritime standards

*

Provide technical support during dry dockings, sea trials and operational deployments

*

Work collaboratively with naval architects, electrical engineers and project managers on multidisciplinary projects

*

Prepare detailed reports, maintenance records, and engineering documentation
