Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Installation Technician to join a world leading specialist SME engineering company. Using a carefully selected range of products and services they are delivering innovative, best practice solutions to a host of industries both in the UK and worldwide including: Construction, Higher Education, Formula 1, Machine Tools, Aerospace, Renewable Energy (Onshore & Offshore), Automotive and Defence, to name but a few.

The Job
The role of a Installation Technician will involve;

  • High Precision machines & equipment installation/assembly

  • Bed plate Installation

  • Lifting Operations (inc. operating overhead cranes, slinging)

  • Electrical Work Packages

  • Major Projects: Full turnkey Test Facilities, Vibration isolation and Acoustic systems

  • On/offshore specialist grouting services

  • Turbine/Generator retrofitting and alignment/installation

  • Metrology (dimensional inspection)

    The Ideal Candidate
    To be considered for this role of a Installation Technician you must...

  • Work well in a team and individually.

  • Be positive and proactive

  • Must be flexible with working away.

  • CSCS card holder

  • Full UK driving licence

  • SSSTS, IPAF and First Aid qualifications not mandatory but beneficial, opportunity to be put through SMSTS qualification for the right candidate. Full training and qualifications offered to support career progression to senior roles

  • Mechanical and/or Civil engineering qualifications and/or experience.
