ABOUT YOU
As the Graduate Engineer, you will be a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. You will work closely with the Group Manager and Team Leader, supporting project delivery and contributing to technical reporting and client engagement.
Required skills and experience:
A degree in a relevant scientific or engineering subject Some laboratory experience in metallurgical, materials science or chemical environments Good organisational and time management skills Ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficient in MS Office Flexible approach to working hours
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects within the Exploration & Production business line, supporting analytical testing and consultancy services across the oil and gas value chain. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, contributing to technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Key activities:
Undertake project work under limited supervision Record and interpret analytical and test results accurately Produce clear and concise technical reports Support client queries and contribute to report preparation Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment Participate in Kaizen 5S processes and continuous improvement initiatives Understand and apply project management systems and procedures Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and procedures Champion Intertek’s values and contribute to a performance culture focused on exceeding customer expectations
