Electrical Mechanical Assemblers

Latitude Recruitment we are recruiting for Electrical Mechanical Assemblers to work on behalf of our engineering and manufacturing Client based in Fareham, Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company specialize in the aerospace industry and a leading company within their field.

What the role ‘needs from the candidate – Responsibilities

• Building and assembling various components of aircraft, spacecraft, or missiles, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and structural systems.
  
  
• Interpreting and following engineering drawings,
  
  
• Operating a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment,
  
  
• Performing inspections and tests to ensure all components meet quality standards and specifications.
  
  Skills and experience needed from candidate
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  
  
• Experience using a variety of hand and power tools, including soldering equipment.
  
  
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  
  
• Familiarity with basic electrical components and wiring techniques.
  
  
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  
  Salary and Working Hours
  
  
• £17.52 ph. overtime rates are applicable,
  
  
• 07:00am - 15:45pm (Monday - Thursday), 07:00am - 11:00am (Friday)
  
  
• Minimum 12 Month Contract
