CNC Turner

Lodestone Recruitment is working in partnership with our client in the Bradford area who has a requirement for a CNC Turner. A stable engineering business in the area, they are well respected and established in their field.

The Company

This engineering business manufactures and supplies a highly specified product to a global customer base. Sectors they feed into include automotive, yellow goods, oil, marine and more recently aerospace applications. The company has a strong reputation for quality and workmanship and has been a leader in their field for almost a century.

What We Are Looking For

Our client is interested in candidates who have the following:

Ideally be apprentice trained or time served CNC Turner.

Must be able to programme, set and operate using Fanuc based controls.

Ideally have experience in Automotive, Oil and Gas, Aerospace or similar sectors.

Experience of precision machining and work on small batches or one offs.

Be able to read engineering and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

What Do You Get? The successful CNC Turner will receive the following:

A salary of £30,500-£34,000/annum

Regular days: 7am-4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am-12noon Friday (39 hours)

Overtime available and paid at T1/2

Permanent position from day one

Annual salary increase - normally in line with inflation

25 days holiday + stats

Onsite parking / easily accessible on public transport
