CNC Miller / Setter / Operator - Aerospace Precision Engineering

An established aerospace engineering company is looking to recruit a CNC Miller / Setter / Operator due to continued growth and increasing customer demand.

The role involves machining complex aerospace components on modern CNC milling machines in a low-to-medium batch, high-precision environment.

Key responsibilities

* Set and operate CNC milling machines

* Install and set tooling and fixtures

* Produce components to engineering drawings and aerospace tolerances

* Carry out firstoff and in-process inspection checks

* Monitor machine performance and maintain component quality

* Complete production and quality documentation

Requirements

* Experience as a CNC Miller / Setter / Operator

* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

* Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain or similar controls

* Good understanding of tooling, offsets and machining practices

* Aerospace experience is advantageous but not essential
