Main Responsibilities

  • Lead, assess, and investigate supplier quality issues.
  • Plan and execute complex cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in quality reviews, PMRs, and governance meetings with senior management (Directors).
  • Identify improvement opportunities to enhance team efficiency and capability.
  • Define corrective actions and improvement plans with suppliers.
  • Propose innovative solutions and manage their deployment.
  • Perform risk analyses for complex solutions.
  • Communicate decisions effectively through strategic planning.
  • Analyze data and generate KPIs on supplier quality performance.
  • Manage RNC/VRNC quality tasks requiring MRB approval.
  • Provide technical support and coaching on quality tools to team members and stakeholders.
  • Act as a mentor and participate in defining strategic departmental plans.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform FAI reviews.
  • Conduct source inspections.
  • Review and approve quality forms (e.g., dropship).

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in aerospace and quality.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience with problem-solving methodologies like 8D, PDCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Poka Yoke.
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is advantageous.
  • Experience with operation parts (machine parts, sheet metal, sub-assemblies).
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and international standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read blueprints and check dimensional properties, including GD&T.
  • Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Net Inspect, Discus, SAP is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools like CMM, micrometers, thread gauges, calipers.
  • Ability to work independently and as a role model.
