Aerospace Operations Account Manager

Salary: £38,000 + Profit Share + Outstanding Benefits

Location: Heathrow (Hybrid Working Available)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Aerospace Operations Account Manager to join their Heathrow team.

The Role

As an Aerospace Account Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of aerospace customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery while developing long-term relationships with both clients and supply chain partners.

Working closely with the senior aerospace leadership team, you'll play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the aerospace division, identifying commercial opportunities and ensuring shipments are managed efficiently from quotation through to final delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining operational expertise with customer relationship management in a fast-paced, specialist logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of aerospace customers, delivering exceptional customer service.

Build and strengthen relationships with clients, airlines, carriers and overseas partners.

Coordinate shipments from initial enquiry through to successful completion.

Prepare and follow up customer quotations.

Select the most appropriate carriers and routing solutions to maximise service levels and profitability.

Work alongside the senior aerospace management team to support business growth.

Ensure supplier costs are accurately maintained and managed.

Complete weekly and monthly operational and financial reporting.

Support out-of-hours customer requirements as part of a team rota.

Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business within the aerospace sector.About You

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

Previous experience within aerospace freight forwarding.

Strong knowledge of aerospace supply chains and time-critical logistics.

Experience managing customer accounts within freight forwarding.

Good understanding of customs procedures relating to aerospace shipments.

Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.What's on Offer?
