AC Service / Maintenance Engineer

Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced AC Service/ Maintenance Engineer for our client based in London.
The Job/Duties:
Our client, a reputable HVAC company, is currently seeking an experienced AC Service/Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
You’ll be responsible for servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems, covering London and occasionally nationwide for ventilation projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and qualified engineer looking for a stable, long-term role.
Key Responsibilities for AC Service / Maintenance Engineer:

• 
  Service and maintain air conditioning systems, predominantly in London and nationwide for ventilation projects.
  
• 
  Participate in a 1 in 4 call-out rotation, with overtime opportunities.
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience, including ventilation expertise.
  
• 
  Hold an essential F Gas qualification, with additional qualifications considered beneficial.
  
• 
  Maintain a stable and trustworthy work record, demonstrating reliability.
  

Experience Needed / About You:

• 
  5+ years of experience in AC service/maintenance, with a focus on ventilation.
  
• 
  Essential F Gas qualification; additional qualifications in HVAC or related fields are advantageous.
  
• 
  Availability for 1 in 4 call-out duties, with flexibility for overtime when required.
  
• 
  Reside in South East London, Surrey, Kent, or be commutable to London.
  
• 
  Possess a stable work history, demonstrating trustworthiness and reliability.
  
• 
  Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  

Pay, Hours & Contract Type:

• 
  Competitive salary around £45,000 - £47,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  
• 
  Travel expenses covered, excluding door-to-door.
  
• 
  Van provided, with private mileage reimbursed at £0.16 per mile.
  
• 
  20 days of holiday entitlement, plus bank holidays.
  
• 
  Pension contribution.
