Lead, support, and coach a team of Vehicle Technicians and apprentices, fostering a positive and high-performance culture.Allocate work efficiently, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to manufacturer standards.Interpret customer requirements and communicate effectively with your team and clients.Monitor workflow and re-prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and productivity targets.Manage parts orders and stock to support smooth workshop operations.Ensure health & safety standards are strictly followed and maintained.What Our Client Expects from You:
Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Service Manager, or senior technician with leadership responsibilities.Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.Excellent communication skills for liaising confidently with customers and colleagues.Knowledge of systems such as OneDrive/Kerridge/CDK, OneLink, and manufacturer digital tools is an advantage.A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within a leadership role.Nice to Have Skills:
Main dealer or franchise background preferred but not essential.Experience with manufacturer systems or similar digital tools.Certifications or technical qualifications related to vehicle servicing or management.Preferred Education & Experience:
Experienced technician or senior technician aspiring to lead.Previous workshop management experience in a dealership environment.Time-served technicians with leadership potential.Other Requirements:
