We are currently undertaking a major technology and businesstransformation programme including the implementation of Workdayfor HR, Finance, PSA and Payroll. This will replace the currentPeopleSoft solution and several satellite applications. Alongsidethe programme, we are building a new support model and team tomanage the ongoing support and change activity beyond theprogramme. The new support structure will also cover other BDOsystems being implemented such as Microsoft Dynamics and a new riskon boarding system called Intapp. These application are part of awider technology and business change initiative called Switch. Youwill be required to work as part of the Finance Product Team on theday to day management and support of Workday and related systems.Reporting to the Workday Finance Systems Team Leader, you will alsomanage change activities relating to the ongoing maintenance andimprovements to the system. You’ll also: Provide day to day 2nd and3rd line support and administration of the Workday environment andother systems in use in Finance Support and provide knowledge to1st line support teams – provide continual upskilling of team toenable more 1st call resolution and accurate triage of issuesAssist with the transition of support processes from programme teamand contract staff, through system stabilisation to steady-stateBAU running Test, validate and implement Business Process changesin Workday (following review and change process) Run ad hoc reports/ analyse data to support business queries Report, track, manageand escalate issues to other support team members, Workday, Prismor Adaptive as appropriate Work in order to meet expected businessperformance goals by providing full range of customer serviceSupport all Finance system integrations as a Functional perspectiveServe as a strong consultative partner to Finance and HR teams inservice delivery Work in close collaboration with the HR ProductSupport Team and IT Application Support Team – particularly on theresolution of cross functional or integration issues Ensure allchanges to data and configuration within the systems are accurate,have all appropriate approvals, are made in a timely manner andensure audit control Support and manage regular Workday featureupgrades and patching processes Educate Finance team, employees,and colleagues on systems in order to improve usability and use ofthe Finance systems You’ll be someone with: Demonstrableunderstanding of Finance operations, accounting concepts andexperience in Finance business processes Practical WorkdayFinancials experience in a similar technical support role Exposureto Workday report writing and data structures Exposure to Workdaydata management processes such as EIB uploads Strong verbal andwritten communication skills to interact with Finance and ITclients and strong attention to detail Previous experience ofworking in similar support and administration role with Workday orsimilar Ideally have completed Workday Financials FundamentalsTraining Experience of using ServiceNow or similar servicemanagement software Knowledge and experience of cross functionalworking on both Finance and HR processes an advantage You’ll beable to be yourself; we’ll recognise and value you for who you areand celebrate and reward your contributions to the business.
