Job role: Welder Fabricator

Location: Ferndown

Shifts: 39 hours, Day shifts

Salary: up to £18.50 DOE + Overtime available at time & half.

A global manufacturer specialising in precision engineered parts for multiple industries including defence, aerospace and marine.

The welder fabricator position:

We have an exciting opportunity for an established MIG/TIG Welder fabricator. The MIG/TIG Welder fabricator will Work with a wide range of thin gauge materials, including steel, aluminium, stainless steel, and other metals.

The Successful Candidate:

Have the ability to read drawings / specifications.
Tig and Mig welding of thin to thick gauge Stainless and Aluminium material 0.7mm to 4mm
Fabricate to drawings.
Safe use of hand tools.
Completion of job cards
Safe handling of components, jigs and fixtures.
Working on own initiative

Required Skills:

Ability to work from detail.
Experience of sheet metal welding
Housekeeping and 6S
Suitable independence and good communication skills
