Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are working in partnership with a local manufacturing company in their search for a Water-Jet Cutting Production Operative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. 

Our client manufacture parts and components used in the aerospace industry and have a vacancy within their CAD design and water jet cutting facility. 

It is essential for this job that you have waterjet, laser or plasma cutting experience

Job details:

Uploading files to the water jet control system
Additional set up - loading the cutting materials - this is heavy work!
Digging out beds, clearing drainage systems - this isn't a clean job! 
Ideal candidate:

You are a physically fit and energetic person 
Experience in plasma cutting and / or laser cutting
Basic CAD experience / ability to learn basic CAD design 
You are looking for a long term, permanent position as a result of this placement 
Working Hours: 

Regular days
Week 1: 6am-230pm Monday – Thursday, 6am-10am Friday
Week 2: 930am-6pm Monday – Thursday, 10am-2pm Friday
The Pay: 

£13.00 - £13.70 per hour dependant on experience
Overtime available, Monday-Saturday is paid at Time x1.5, Sunday’s and Bank Holidays are paid at x2
