Role Overview
The Vehicle Security and Electrical Fitter / Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of security and electrical systems in motorhomes. This hands-on role requires a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of automotive electrical systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities

  • Install security systems including alarms, immobilisers, and trackers.
  • Fit and wire solar panels, satellite systems, and other electrical accessories.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and repair faulty wiring or system components.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Work closely with the Workshop Manager to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
    Experience Required;
  • Previous fitting experience of security and electrical devices such as alarms and trackers on either vans, motorhomes or construction vehicles.
  • Previous experience of testing and repairing electrical vehicle faults.
  • Experience of working in a busy workshop.
    Based on the outskirts of Taunton, this is a full-time permanent role. Salary c. GBP30000 - GBP40000 (neg)
