Vehicle Service Technician required in Plymouth

Starting salary £31,000 per annum depending on experience.  Guaranteed 5-day/42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 2 Saturdays and a day off in the week when you work a Saturday.

Our client, an automotive service centre/tyre retailer with multiple locations nationwide, is currently recruiting for an Vehicle Service Technician to join their busy centre in the Plymouth area.

Reporting to the Centre Manager and working with a friendly workshop team, you will take responsibility for carrying out mechanical servicing and repair on a variety of cars and light vans. Assisting with the servicing and repair of vehicles in compliance with company procedure and Health & Safety regulations. You will ensure the work is carried out to a high standard in line with our client's customer journey and to portray a professional image. 

To be eligible for the Vehicle Service Technician Role:
You will need to have a UK driving licence with minimal points and be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum.Ideally hold practical experience within another automotive workshop environment beyond your qualification.Be a good team player with excellent communication skills, liaising with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop.What's in it for you?
