Validation Officer - Quality Assurance

up to £40,000

Birkenhead

An established and growing manufacturing business is currently seeking a Validation Officer to join their Quality Assurance team. This role is key to ensuring ongoing compliance with internal and regulatory standards by supporting validation activities across production, equipment, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update the site Validation Master Plan in line with industry best practices.
Ensure validation procedures are effective and compliant with business needs.
Create and execute validation protocols and reports for equipment and processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure validation tasks are completed on schedule.
Train production staff on validated processes and promote consistent use of SOPs and documentation.
Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
Contribute to the implementation of new documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in quality investigations and change control activities using structured problem-solving techniques.
Assist in collecting and analysing data for quality metrics and compliance reporting.Requirements:

Proven experience in a validation or quality assurance role, ideally within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multi-functional teams.
Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills.
High attention to detail with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
Strong problem-solving ability and a sound understanding of quality systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to balance cost, quality, and safety in decision-making.What's on Offer:
