Urgent - X2 Project Quality Engineer - Hybrid in Southampton - £45-55k

Areti has partnered with a company who are at the forefront of cutting-edge technology that safeguards our nation. As a key player in the defence sector, they are committed to delivering excellence in every project they undertake and they are now looking for X 2 Project Quality Engineers with a Software background to join their expanding team.

As a Project Quality Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our critical defence software projects. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and champion best practices. Your work will directly impact the safety and security of our country.

Salary - £45-55k

Hybrid - working 2 days a week in Southampton

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality assessments, audits, and inspections throughout project lifecycles.
• Develop and implement quality management plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to identify risks and mitigate them effectively.
• Monitor compliance with ISO standards and industry regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality.
• Provide expert guidance on quality software methodologies and tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in quality engineering within the defence or aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• AQAP Certification (Desirable)
• Passion for precision and attention to detail.
